“Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation.
Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.”
– Jonathan Livingston Seagull
This quote is from one of my favorite book called Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. This book gives people strengths to pursue their dreams by encouraging them to keep trying. The Seagull named Jonathan had unique dream that non of the other seagulls understood. But he believed himself and at the end, he successfully achieved his dream.
The story is very simple but amazing. However, other than the story itself, this quote touched my heart the most. Like this quote, I was believing what I saw with my eyes and what I hear with my ears. Even though those perspectives are known to be ‘realistic‘ and the ‘right view’, I should open my heart, not limited to what I see and hear. With eyes that can see further and legs that are ready to run, what is there that I cannot achieve?
I believe I can and I believe you can too!
